Item was delayed, possibly mislaid in transit but after contacting GUR a replacement was sent out with was gratefully received almost immediately.

Foot was a genuine janome foot - a good price - delivery a bit slower than I would have liked but overall very happy with product.

Was very happy with order and the ‘sew easy’ Sashiko starter kit was a good price in comparison. Good marking pencil with six different colours will be useful in future projects too. You can add your own wadding if you want it more obviously ‘quilted’ (and as hand stitching polyester or wool will make it easier than cotton wadding which is harder to hand quilt with).

Lovely needle case, much needed after my dog chewed up the one I've had for years! I thought it was quite expensive but it actually contains a small pair of scissors, so actually was a fair price. It's pretty and looks sturdy enough.

Customer services replied promptly + correct part came earlier than expected will be reordering again without hesitation.

Great price for the Janome HD9 metal bobbins - I will be ordering more soon! Free postage is a bonus. Have ordered from GUR before and never been disappointed with service or price.
 

I have purchased a pattern before this and they are exceptionally good value. I made the last skirt and it’s a good fit. I’m sure this one will be too.

Delivered very promptly and packaged very securely. All Janome branded items in Janome packaging, very good quality. Bobbin case (Blue dot) is great for free motion quilting with the purple tip needles also from Janome.

My order was only dispatched after I contacted the company a week later, having not received it. When I received the order, it then contained incorrect items. I have since asked three times over the past week that this be corrected but have received absolutely no response. Very disappointed.

Would definitely shop with GUR again should I need sewing supplies. Their price was excellent and with free shipping and quick delivery what more could I ask. I haven't tried the foot yet (been grounded with a heavy cold), but if its a branded produce I'm sure it will be fine.

Purchased the above from yourselves, one of a very few places who actually stocks this type of needle threader. Arrived safe and sound, in perfect condition, and bought at a good price. I have to say it took a little longer than I expected, but that could have been the time of year (1st week of Jan). Would definitely use GUR again.

Just started to use the Sewing machine and finding it easy enough to use. The Manual could be better to better inform user or at least have links to information online.

I have sewn a lot in the past and always wanted an overlocker to give a more professional and speedy neatening of seams. Although out of stock at time of ordering, I was kept informed of re-stock and delivery date. The machine is quiet, solid and elegant. It arrived pre-threaded which was excellent and there was a sample already stitched and left in the machine which is a great example to work to. Re-threading is straight forward as it is colour coded and there are diagrams on the machine (as well as an instruction manual and instruction cd). I am impressed. Disappointed not to have received the Free Madeira Threads though.

I would definitely use again with your sewing machines they are an honest hard-working company and I would definitely deal with them again many thanks for my order.

After much research i finally decided to my my overlocker through GUR. Great to deal with. Brilliant machine. Glad I went direct.

Firstly the service I received from Gur was marvellous, as I was amazed at how quickly considering I ordered the machine on Christmas Eve 24th Dec and it arrived on my door step on the 28th December, that's what I call service especially at holiday times.
The VR machine is lovely for embroidery and Quilting, and besides the machine being an industrial machine for embroidery and quilting, it has a bobbin winder which is great, and the embroidery is beautiful on this machine.
The stand is very sturdy and has shelves and the machine sits comfortable on the top, and everything is handy for me when I am working.
Great machine for a great Company.

Found the Christmas stockings on your web site. Did not expect such a prompt delivery, it was close to Christmas, thought it would arrive in the New Year. Have had a quick look at the stockings and think they look wonderful. Will get the backing for them in the next few weeks, other odd sewing jobs taking preference at the moment, ie a new zip in my daughter’s knitted jacket!

Bought for sewing friend. Quite a lot larger than thought would be so pleasantly surprised which makes very practical not just decorative. Well made and beautifully designed. Would buy again.

Slight delay on delivery but that was dealt with very efficiently by GUR Customer Service. Binder was excellently priced and as described. There is a learning curve when you start using the attachment, but once you have it adjusted and your Coverpro machine settings right it makes a beautiful job of binding hems and necklines. Works well with both knit and woven fabrics. Great addition to my Janome 2000CPX cover stitch machine.
 

I can't fault this company. The delivery times are super-fast and I was kept up to speed at every step. Everything is well-packed and the prices are so competitive. When I have telephoned my call has been answered immediately with a friendly and helpful response. The Jaguar 489 overlocker was a Christmas gift for me and I am so pleased with it. A friend suggested these, we are both woodworkers, they work well on scroll saws, band saws and are also good for lighting on a woodturners lathe.
only drawback, the fitted two pin plug, obviously this is easy and cheap to fit a more suitable plug

Excellent service from GUR, the Jaguar Overlocker was out of stock when I ordered it, but I did know this. GUR let me know when it was back in stock and when it was to be delivered. Just trying out the Jaguar 489, it is so easy to use and I have never used an Overlocker before.

All the items were fine except the thread holder which was a bit rough to say the least but not the fault of GUR but Milward themselves l suspect. GUR were very quick to respond to my email and l was impressed how quick they sent me a new one, well done GUR.

The replacement again however was very shabby workmanship by Milward l had to get my husband to rub down the wood as it was very sharp in lots of places. It is ok now.

I would buy again from GUR as their prices are very good and after sales excellent!

Delivery took longer than I thought it would but don’t think I saw an expected arrival date.

I ordered this Jaguar machine to replace a 43 yr old machine which, apart from the Singer treadle I learned to sew on at school, is the only sewing machine I've ever used. I'm so pleased with it I don't know where to start! It weighs about a quarter of my old machine, and it sews SO much more smoothly, and it's SO quiet. I didn't realise sewing machines had advanced so much when I wasn't looking! My grateful thanks to GUR for making the purchase transaction simple and hassle free. And absolutely no problems with the delivery of the machine and one or two after-sale questions. Can't recommend highly enough.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife, customer service was good I had few queries which were answered quickly and delivery was in time for the big day.
