I purchased this machine as had been looking around and it had great reviews si I placed and order with gur sewing machines about 4pm and it arrived before 9am the next morning was expecting to be waiting in all day but so happy it came early. It's a brilliant machine so easy to set up made a few pieces for home and some Christmas aprons and I really am enjoying my new hobby, would like to buy the embroidery machine next so hopefully Santa can sort that for me lol, overall a great company and great machine can't fault anything

I can't recommend this company highly enough. Have been dealing with them for nearly 30 years. I've had several machines over time and am currently using a Janome 12000 which is fantastic and have just taken delivery of the Pfaff Passport machine to take to classes with me. I'm really happy with it. The prices are always very competitive. The service you get from this family business is excellent.

My dealings with G.U.R throughout the entire purchase process were great, I received prompt and polite & exceptionally helpful service from everyone I dealt with along with speedy delivery.

As for the machine, I was so excited waiting for it to arrive. Once it did I unpacked it all to check it as, there was (what turned out to be) superficial damage to the box - all present and correct I read the manual, looked at all the parts and then put it away for a week as I was terrified of using it.

I had no reason though, once I finally worked up the courage to switch it on & have a go, it was so simple to use - following the thread guides/dvd threading is easy to do and the possibilities for use are vast. I can't wait to get started on my multitude of projects as this machine will speed things up and give them that professional finish.

With all the extras received with this its a definite bargain & I'm sure I'll have years and years of happy sewing with it.

I am Sheila Belcher, and last week I called your office (I am a regular customer) as I had a problem with the free motion foot on my Janome 8900QCP. Janome UK were less than helpful when I had phoned them, they promised to call back and didn;t, so I called you - who had supplied my machine and accessories. I can't thank you enough for your patience, your help, your product knowledge, and for solving my problem with the feet attachments.

I also approached Janome UK stand at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace on Saturday, 10th October, and they "were too busy at the time to help me, as it would mean tying up a machine for a potential customer". I felt somewhat insignificant. I own 3 Janome machines, and if I was in the market for buying another, this lady would have put me off immediately.

Thank goodness I have GUR. I thank you sincerely for your help, I wouldn;'t go anywhere else for any sewing machine or accessory I wanted, and I have recommended you for your products, the good prices, and excellent service.

Even though I live in Denmark the machine arrived pretty quickly (I think I ordered in Monday night and it arrived on Thursday). Unfortunately upon setting it up I couldn't get it to work. I called customer support and they tried to help me both over the phone and via e-mails. I would send videos of what the machine was doing and they would suggest things for me to try. In the end I had to pack the machine up and send it back but it was picked up at the door and its replacement arrived a day after pickup and works just fine! Overall I am really glad that I ordered from here, even though I had to wait for the replacement machine, the service was top notch, would definitely order from here again.

Whatever the query, GUR have always responded with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. My recent order was, unfortunately, not in stock but I was sent an email immediately notifying me of the problem and a promise to let me know as soon as it was back in stock. A follow up email informing me that my account had been refunded and an apology that they were unable to fulfill the order. This is the high standard that I have come to expect from them. Earlier this year they took on the repair of my small, old portable sewing machine and I was kept informed of every step they took in its repair and subsequent delivery. Considering I do not live in the U.K. their service and dedication is impressive. I look forward to doing business with them again soon.

Very pleased with my new machine, rang the store just to confirm the model on the website was the 1 I was wanting as the model numbers were different. The member of staff was very helpful so I made my purchase there & then, the machine was delivered a few days later. I'm taking my time to get used to it as there are a lot of different features on it to my old New Home machine. Thank you, back to sewing again lots of projects on the horizon.

The machine arrived by courier the next day after dispatch. I had tracking right up to the time of arrival which gave me the last ten minutes to own up to my husband that I'd purchased a machine as he needed to carry it to my studio!
There was a fantastic £800 reduction on the machine plus GUR free gifts making it a great bargain. I took advantage of the flexipay as I would rather not lose interest on my savings. Great customer service when I phoned for details and I'm confident that if I have any problems GUR will look after my machine.the machine itself is a dream and stitches beautifully. I already have a couple of very old Pfaffs so am used to the dual feed but it's far better than any other system. I have also just had a replacement right knee so the electronic pivot feature for me is so much better than a conventional knee lift. Highly recommend GUR.

Fantastic Fast next day Delivery, Machine is a lot more noisy than my previous Janome, but it is far more superior in my opinion , easy to thread . I replaced a 1993 singer profesnal Xl-1 didnt know what to go for.After reading about the top 10 machines and seeing the good reviews about GUR I gave them a call.spoke to Steven who was so helpful and talked me through the best sellers, he was not pushy, and didn't try to sell me the most expensive one, he suggested I look at the web site and come back to him with any questions and a list of the features I needed. I called him the next day and after a few questions I went for a Pfaff performance 5.0. The del didn't arrive on the day stated, although this was not the fault of the del co. In the UK as I live in France and it was passed to a del co here and they messed up, but when I called GUR I spoke to Rav, he was so helpful, he tracked my machine and it arrived the next morning, and I love it! What a machine can't stop playing, so much to learn. Thank you GUR

Fantastic service - there was a problem with the delivery company, but on being advised of this, GUR's polite and friendly staff worked promptly and tirelessly on my behalf, chasing the delivery company and calling me frequently to keep me updated on progress, until the problem was resolved and I received my lovely new sewing machine the following day! The sewing machine itself (Husqvarna Viking) is great and the package containing the scissors, cotton reels, fabric etc is good quality and very useful. I would definitely use this company again - lovely products and excellent customer service.

I was impressed with the comparison system on the website. It made choosing the right machine at a good price much easier. The delivery was quick and free which as I live in Spain was brilliant. When trying out the automatic buttonhole attachment I needed the help of customer services. They immediately identified where I was going wrong and were very helpful. All in all I am very happy with this company.

These threads are superb, lovely colours, at first I wasn't to sure how they would perform in my machine, but no problem, a little ironic as later I changed to my usual well known brand because of a colour, and it knotted, mind you it was a first, so I have no hesitation in recommending these threads, and they are large reels.

I am delighted with my Janome 9900, and very impressed with the service I have received from GUR. The machine arrived the next day, together with the box of embroidery threads and stabilisers I had ordered so I could get started straight away. Thank you 😀

I ordered an overlocking machine which was going to be heavy and bulky to ship to me in France but as I could not find the same model here in France anywhere near the price GUR was offering, I went for it.

I was not charged any delivery costs and the parcel arrived in the arms of the postman safe and sound and completely intact, not even a 'bruise' to the box!

As I really wasn't sure what I wanted I decided to visit GUR and see what the options were. We were welcomed and offered a really thorough introduction to the machine, then left to play with it to see how I felt about it. When I had made my purchase we were given a lift back to the hotel where we were staying as it was raining, how's that for after sales service!
Couldn't ask for better, machine arrived as promised with the extra table and threads and I couldn't wait to get going.

I also purchased a new Janome sewing machine from your showroom. I haven't used the zipper foot yet but I can comment on the machine. I thought that a computerised machine would be complicated but I'm pleasently surprised at how easy it is. It's a lovely machine, it's very quiet and I'm really happy with it. The service I received at the showroom was very good and the materials and sewing equipment there was extensive - I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it before. I would definitely recommend shopping here.
